Electric Cleaner

I just found the perfect small little gift for our other son to "give" George. Look at this thing:

It's an electric nose and ear cleaner - how funny is that? It looks like it's just a little elctric motor that spins around and come with two attachments: A cotton swab (for the ears) and a little plastic finger (for the nose)! After all, it gets to be a lot more work to keep up with hygiene when you get older, as George would know! It says (as a joke of course) that it's "guaranteed to improve your sense of smell and hearing" - well George could certainly use some help with that second one, with how long it takes him to do what I ask sometimes! Anyways, this is just the kind of small gift I was looking for to get from whichever boy doesn't get him the tool kit. It's a little less expensive, though, so I think I might pair it with the birthday blues kit - those two combined are about equal in price to the tool belt. Well, that takes care of the gifts from the kids, but I still haven't figured out what I'll be getting him. That's a little backwards if you ask me! I really should make them start actually buying people presents themselves one of these days, but boys will be boys, I suppose. Okay, that's all for now, but next time it's time to recommence the hunt for a gift to George from me!

Tool Belt

I think I finally found a gift on that website that would be good for one of the boys to get George (or at least, to say that one of the boys got George, since I know better than to expect either of them to actually pick something out and buy it for him). Anyways, here it is:

The call it the over the hill tool belt. Of course, I don’t know what else they’d call it, because that is exactly what it is. It’s made to look like a tool belt with various tools attached to it, except that instead of normal tools they’re an assortment of little old age gag gifts. And these gag gifts seem like my sons’ sense of humor – things like a “fart alarm” whistle and a fake Tylenol-like medicine called “Tyrd-N-Old”. I think George will appreciate and get a kick out of this gift, especially if it’s coming from one of the boys. So that takes care of shopping for one of them. Now, I wonder what I’m going to do for the other one. It should be something like this, pretty cheap and an assortment of little gifts. Maybe that birthday blues kit I posted about a while back. But maybe I’ll find something better. I’ll just have to keep my eyes open and be on the lookout for another gift from our other son. And, of course, I still need to figure out what I’m getting him for sure. Right now I just have a bunch of ideas floating around in my head – seems like it’s like that more and more these days, huh? Okay, well, that’s all I’ve got to talk about for now. Talk to you next time!
